Reckitt Benckiser says it is proud of Here to Help

21st May 2009

Reckitt Benckiser is proud to offer the Here to Help service, it has stated.

Often there are barriers that prevent individuals overcoming their dependency to opioid painkillers or heroin and the scheme is intended to help these patients.

As part of the programme, a physician is appointed to treat the addict with Suboxone (buprenorphine HCl/naloxone HCl dihydrate [two mg/0.5 mg and eight mg/two mg]) C-III Sublingual Tablets.

Other services will be offered such as psychosocial support, as well as a series of outbound calls over the first 12 weeks of therapy to motivate, educate and assist.

In addition, there is a website that provides support through email, links to support groups and downloadable resources.

Shaun Thaxter is the president of Reckitt Benckiser Pharmaceuticals and explained the programme reflects the company’s commitment to helping addicts recover over the long-term.

He said: “Personal care coach support combined with online tools and resources will offer powerful assistance to individuals and their families at a time when they can truly benefit from such help.”

Some of the guidance sections on the website include Finding Motivation, Setting Goals and Everyday Success Planner.
