Reckitt Benckiser sees growth in 2010 fiscal year to date

5th November 2010

Reckitt Benckiser has published its financial results for the 2010 fiscal year to date, reporting strong year-on-year growth during the nine months.

The firm's total net revenue for 2010 is currently tracking six percent ahead of the figure from the corresponding period of last year at 6.2 billion pounds, while operating profit and net income have both seen double-digit growth.

A robust third quarter performance contributed to this, with revenues for the three months coming to 2.1 billion pounds, while Reckitt Benckiser has also been able to expand its product offerings.

Bart Becht, Reckitt Benckiser's chief executive officer, noted its "excellent performance in developing markets and the success of Powerbrand innovations such as the Lysol/Dettol No Touch Hand Soap System".

The company is also in the process of acquiring fellow healthcare products manufacturer SSL International, the firm behind the Durex contraceptives range.

Mr Becht stated that a net revenue growth of six percent is now being targeted.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800220343-ADNFCR
