Red Consultancy appoints new corporate and technology head

Red Consultancy has announced the appointment of the experienced PR veteran James Chandler as the new managing director of its corporate and technology practice.

Mr Chandler joins the agency from the independent corporate finance advisory firm Thames Advisory London, where he spent the last five years working as a partner. Prior to this, he worked as head of corporate at Porter Novelli and as a director at Weber Shandwick.

In total, he can boast more than 18 years of experience in the fields of corporate communications, corporate affairs, financial PR and investor relations, having worked with a wide range of clients from across a variety of sectors.

At Red, he will head up a client roster that includes Molson Coors, Emirates, Adobe, Capgemini, TrustFord, EDF Energy and Rackspace.

Mike Morgan, chief executive of Red, told PRWeek: "James has a great blend of experience across corporate and technology allied to impressive personal drive."

This follows the appointment of Nick Edell as the agency's new head of digital last month.
