Resolute Communications purchased by Publicis Groupe

Resolute Communications has been acquired by the global marketing firm Publicis Groupe and merged with Publicis Life Brands.

The London-based media agency is set to be renamed Publicis Life Brands Resolute, with Resolute founders Paul Blackburn and Anna Korving to become its joint managing directors.

Healthcare communications specialist Resolute has been in existence since 2002 and has won a number of prestigious industry awards, including the Pharma Times’ Marketing Communications Agency of the Year title and the Holmes Report’s European Consultancy of the Year prize.

It also amassed a client list which includes several major pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, including GlaxoSmithKline and Salix Pharmaceuticals.

Publicis states that the takeover of Resolute means that it can now offer clients a “complete range of healthcare communication services”.

It added: “This targeted acquisition illustrates Publicis Groupe’s ongoing commitment to pursuing growth opportunities that create value for its clients.”
