Reynolds Mackenzie appoints new chief executive officer

19th February 2018

Reynolds Mackenzie has announced the appointment of Matt de Gruchy as its new chief executive officer, leading its teams in London and Marlow.

The agency, which operates as the specialist PR division of Open Health, has created this new role to help drive client service excellence and innovation as it looks to progress to a new phase of growth, reports PRWeek.

Mr de Gruchy served as UK chief executive of Ogilvy Healthworld for six years, overseeing an integrated marketing offering encompassing media relations, medcomms, brand promotion, digital and market access.

Prior to this, he was the longstanding managing director of the group's media relations agency, Ogilvy Health PR. In his new role at Reynolds Mackenzie, he will work closely with the firm's founder Eva Reynolds, who moves into the role of chair.

Sandy Royden, chief executive officer of Open Health, said: "It is fantastic to have someone with Matt's background and experience come in to lead our team and offer at Reynolds Mackenzie."
