Road to promote Helperby Therapeutics’ antibiotic resistance offerings
Road has been handed a new contract by Helperby Therapeutics, the creator of a new solution for tackling antimicrobial resistance.
The agency has been tasked with developing new offline, digital and social media programmes to engage the medical and investment communities in conversation around the issue of antibiotic resistance, and to publicise Helperby's innovations in this field, reports Gorkana.
Helperby is looking to tackle the emergence of superbugs through a unique methodology that allows the company to rejuvenate old antibiotics, making them useful once again in treating infectious diseases.
Frances Crewdson, Helperby's chief operating officer, said: "There has been no new class of antibiotic produced for over 30 years. This new lease of life for antibiotics has the potential to help sustain our defence against life threatening superbugs for years to come."
Road has experience of promoting products designed to combat antimicrobial resistance, having won a brief with the specialist infection control company GAMA Healthcare last year.
