Royal Canin highlights success of latest Vet Symposium
Royal Canin has noted the success of its latest Vet Symposium in France, which was attended by more than 600 veterinary professionals from 61 countries.
Entitled Feline Medicine in the 21st Century, the symposium was hosted near Royal Canin's head office in Montpellier and encompassed a series of clinical and practice management lectures held over two days.
Talk topics included kidney disease, constipation, ethograms, soiling and multicat households, while practice management sessions took in subjects such as cat-friendly practice strategies, business models, how to deal with tricky customers and how to harness digital media.
Additionally, attending vets were also able to participate in networking events and take a tour of the Royal Canin campus, including its production facility and central research centre.
Lee Danks, Royal Canin's scientific affairs manager, said: "The feedback we've received has been fantastic, with a lot of guests expressing that they've gained ideas on how to implement positive changes in their clinics."
All of the lectures that were held at this year's Vet Symposium have since been made available by the company to view online.
