Ruder Finn appoints new head of UK technology

Ruder Finn has announced the appointment of Shelley Facius as its new head of technology in the UK.

Ms Faicus is a tech PR veteran whose career has spanned more than 20 years, having held director-level roles at Hill and Knowlton Strategies, FleishmanHillard and Spreckley Partners, in addition to in-house positions with Oracle and Coretech, reports PRWeek.

She also ran her own consultancy, Juice PR, for more than five years, and is a former vice president and current committee member of Women in PR.

In her new role at Ruder Finn, Ms Faicus will work with the agency's UK and global teams to offer senior counsel to clients, while building on the potential for international business development and collaboration with divisions like healthcare and internal communications.

She has been recruited as the successor to Jon White, who has moved to a new directorial role at Babel PR.
