Ruder Finn appoints new media strategist

21st May 2013

Ruder Finn has announced the appointment of Emma Morton as a media strategist, reporting to its head of healthcare Vicky O'Connor.

Ms Morton will join the agency on May 28th 2013 after having spent 13 years employed by national newspaper the Sun, where she is currently employed in the role of health and science editor.

Her experience in working for one of the most widely-circulated newspapers in the country ensures that she will be able to bring a keen understanding of media developments and communications strategies to her new role.

At Ruder Finn, she will be tasked with offering consultancy for media initiatives across the healthcare division, while also working with other teams across the agency to build integrated campaigns.

Nick Leonard, UK managing director of Ruder Finn, said: "Emma's appointment is part of the ongoing strengthening of the Ruder Finn London healthcare team. We've experienced significant growth and have made some high-profile appointments to ensure that we build on this."

Earlier this month, the company installed Ms O'Connor in her new head of healthcare role, while also assigning new positions to Stephen Davies, Judith Cranford and Annabel Fiddian-Green.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801588283-ADNFCR
