Sanofi earns two wins and four commendations at 2013 PMEAs

Sanofi has emerged as one of the most commended companies at the 2013 Pharmaceutical Market Excellence Awards (PMEAs), which recently took place in London.

The company won two prizes and was highly commended in an additional four categories at the event, which is run by PMGroup and recognises excellence, best practice and innovation in local, European and international healthcare markets.

Sanofi won the Lionsden Award for Capability Development for its work in revitalising its Cholestagel brand, as well as the Excellence in Managing Mature Brands categories for its Sanofi Marketing College training programme.

The judges said of the latter project: "The programme demonstrated that Sanofi's marketing capabilities were being addressed and clear improvements were being made, resulting in better marketing decisions as a result of this initiative."

Commendations came in the company of the year, excellence in corporate social responsibility, excellence in patient focus and excellence in customer focus for physician/payers categories.

Sanofi is one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies, employing more than 100,000 people in 100 countries. Its UK headquarters are located in Surrey.
