Schering-Plough announces Q4 results date
Schering-Plough has announced it will make available the details of its 2008 fourth quarter (Q4)results next month.
The company, which deals in a number of pharmaceutical products including a range of fertility treatments, has slated its report for Tuesday February 3rd and has agreed to back the event with an online conference call.
It has been confirmed Schering-Plough’s chairman and chief executive Fred Hassan, as well as a number of other representatives from the company’s management team, will be available to discuss the sales and earnings figures during the call – which will be webcast on the firm’s corporate site.
Last month, it was announced the pharmaceutical group would make a quarterly dividend payment of $3.75 (£2.52) per share on 2007’s mandatory convertible preferred stock to stakeholders on February 17th.
Previously the payment had been agreed for the previous day. However, a scheduling conflict with the US President’s Day holiday meant the date had to be pushed back.
Last week, the company also announced it was celebrating the validation of its Marketing Authorisation Application for corifollitropin alfa by the European Medicines Agency.
The treatment is designed for use in the encouragement of follicle growth in pregnant women involved in the Assisted Reproductive Technology program.
