Seven Seas to relaunch Multibionta with new campaign

Seven Seas has announced the relaunch of its probiotic multivitamin range, Multibionta.

The targeted PR and advertising campaign is set to cost the company £2 million and will incorporate both online and offline aspects, such as improved formulations, a new logo and packaging.

A spokesperson for Seven Seas noted the move is a response to research that showed that many people failed to fully grasp the benefits of Multibionta when it was originally launched in the UK, reports Chemist and Druggist.

"Pharmacists and pharmacy assistants can play a vital role in advising customers on the benefits of probiotics and in particular those customers who may not yet be taking a supplement," the spokesperson said.

Earlier this year, the firm launched its new JointCare range, which it claims contains improved formulas to help people to look after their joints.

It features a number of different options for consumers, meaning individuals can tailor their supplements to meet their needs more closely. It comprises three hierarchical ranges: 'be', 'pro' and 'Xcel', each of increasing strength and potency.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800706777-ADNFCR
