ShiraTronics Achieve Breakthrough in Chronic Migraine Management

21st December 2023

ShiraTronics has achieved a noteworthy milestone by successfully implanting its Chronic Migraine device in six individuals. This accomplishment represents a significant breakthrough in the field of nerve activity technology, particularly in the management of migraines.

The implantation procedure is an integral component of joint medical research conducted in partnership with Australian healthcare specialists.

The research aims to evaluate the performance of the ShiraTronics Chronic Migraine Device and establish the framework for further studies.

Rob Binney, the head chief of Shiratronics, commented, “The achievement of this crucial milestone has validated all aspects of our procedure, system, and therapy settings.”

Dr Matthew Green who implanted patients with the Shiratronics Chronic Migraine System, added, “With two successful implants completed at our centre, we are highly encouraged by the results. This technology introduces a new therapy option previously unavailable to patients and offers great hope where previously there was none for those grappling with chronic migraine.”
