Siemens Healthineers to help ADRZ build new operating theatres

1st July 2016

Siemens Healthineers has announced a new partnership with the Dutch hospital Admiraal De Ruyter Ziekenhuis (ADRZ), based in Goes.

The organisations have signed an agreement to build and supply equipment for six new operating theatres, including a hybrid operating room, with Siemens to act as builder-owners and lessors for a period of ten years.

Siemens will build the new complex with its partner companies Engie and Jan Snel, providing the new operating theatres with medical systems and services for a decade, while helping to update its equipment regularly.

This will allow ADRZ to continuously take advantage of state-of-the-art technology and processes within an affordable model, while concentrating on its medical core competence and responsibilities.

Sourabh Pagaria, head of enterprise services at Siemens Healthineers, said: "By this collaborative model, we jointly drive operational performance and ultimately patient outcomes."

The new complex housing the six operating theaters is expected to be completed in February 2017.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801821256-ADNFCR
