Simplyhealth wins Personal Finance Award for health insurance

Simplyhealth has been presented with the best healthcare insurance provider accolade at the Personal Finance Awards for the third consecutive year.

The health and dental plans provider claimed the prestigious titles at the London event after a consumer vote, with around 14,200 people taking part in the polling process this year.

Distinguishing features of the Simplyhealth service include its high-calibre customer relations, underpinned by the provision of UK call centres and caring nurse managers, as well as the absence of automated telephone systems.

The firm now provides nearly four million people with health plans, more than any other company.

Jamie Wilson, sales and marketing director at Simplyhealth, said: "We're pleased that our health plans are being of real value and that people are happy with the service they receive from Simplyhealth."

This comes after the company claimed the title of best cash plan provider at the Cover Excellence Awards last month.
