Simplyhealth’s chief executive shortlisted for IoD award

Simplyhealth has announced that its chief executive Romana Abdin has been nominated for the Institute of Directors' (IoD's) 2015 London and South East Director of the Year Awards.

Ms Abdin has been shortlisted as a finalist in the category for companies with an annual turnover of 300,000 pounds or greater, highlighting her status as one of the country's most respected and accomplished business leaders.

The awards ceremony will be held at the IoD headquarters in Pall Mall, London, on April 28th, and will provide Simplyhealth with an opportunity to highlight its recent achievements and the contributions its entire team has made towards its success.

Ms Abdin said: "I am proud to be part of a team that continues to embrace the challenge of the changes we are making in order to face the future with confidence."

The insurance company employs just under 1,400 people nationwide across offices in Andover, Manchester, Leeds and Winchester, serving nearly 3.5 million customers nationwide.
