Sirona Dental Systems receives thanks for donations
Sirona Dental Systems has been thanked for its “generous” donations, it has been reported.
The company contributed 340 dental hand-pieces ? worth nearly $200,000 (123,023 pounds) – to the National Children’s Oral Health Foundation (NCOHF), reported Dental Office.
It is part of a growing scheme to provide non-profit dental facilities to help communities during a time of financially struggle, the magazine explained.
Michael Augins, president of the oral health firm, told the publication that it was a good cause and the ideal opportunity for the business to help those who would otherwise not have access this sort of medical care.
President and chief executive officer of NCOHF Fern Ingber commented: “We are grateful to Sirona for the generous donation.
“This gift will help our non-profit affiliates to help even more children in desperate need of oral healthcare.”
Founded in 1997, the business asserts its products now represent the cutting-edge of modern dental treatment, research and development.
The company currently has a workforce of around 2,300 employees.
