Sirona earns awards recognition for investor relations

Sirona has been recognised as one of the dental industry's top businesses in terms of the quality and responsibility of its investor relations (IR) practices.

Institutional Investor magazine has included the firm in its 2014 All-America Executive team, its annual IR survey for the US. Sirona was ranked third in the best IR category, while Joshua Zable – the company's vice-president for IR – was named second in the list of top IR professionals.

The firm has also been nominated in the most progress in IR category at the IR Magazine Awards, recognising the various improvements it has made in this area over the last few years. The winners of the award will be announced in March 2014.

Mr Zable said: "We are very honored that Sirona has received these awards. We know that our success is based on a very competent and capable team of professionals."

This comes after the firm was listed last month on the Standard and Poor's MidCap 400 index, which covers seven percent of the US equity market.
