Sirona introduces Heliodent Plus Mobile Stand
Sirona has announced the launch of a mobile stand for its intraoral X-ray tube Heliodent Plus, which offers various flexibility and usability benefits.
The company has been supplying the users of Heliodent Plus with a mobile stand at their request since earlier this year, allowing them to move the device to anywhere it is needed, rather than limiting it to being attached to a wall or ceiling.
It means the device is always within reach and can be adapted to suit the individual requirements of every practice, improving daily workflows and making it particularly suitable for clinics and nursing homes where patients are immobile.
Despite being quick and easy to move, the stand is stable and will not topple over, guaranteeing maximum flexibility and ensuring that the images are not blurred.
Jorg Haist, product manager for imaging systems at Sirona, said: "Dentists who work with modern digital systems especially value the outstanding image quality and the fact that the images can be accessed immediately."
This comes after the firm recently revealed it has won a prestigious iF product design award for inEos X5, its acclaimed extraoral scanner, which previously claimed a prize at the Good Design Awards in 2013.
