Sirona introduces new pre-shaded translucent zirconium oxide offering

Sirona has announced the launch of InCoris TZI C, a pre-shaded translucent zirconium oxide block that facilitates dental CAD/CAM procedures.

Available in ten classic tooth colours and three block sizes, the new product allows fully anatomical restorations to be made more quickly and with greater colour accuracy, as restorations no longer need to be dipped and dried in colouring liquid.

Since the block is a solid colour all the way through, users can avoid creating light areas when grinding. This means simple crown and bridge work can be carried out chairside with the CEREC system.

Classically sintered and able to be finalised with commercial and gloss paints, the zirconium oxide blocks are ideal for the production of full crowns and fully anatomical bridges.

This follows the company's introduction of new Lounge upholstery for its Sinius and Teneo treatment centres earlier this month.
