Sirona launches new Cerec milling units

18th June 2013

Sirona Dental Systems has announced the launch of three new Cerec milling units, plus a number of additional product offerings.

The new milling units come at different price points and have all been designed to deliver fast and accurate performance, while individually offering advantages for specific applications.

Cerec MC is intended for practices focusing on chairside single-tooth restorations and is the most cost-effective of the three, while Cerec MC X is more suitable for dentists providing a wide range of treatments and Cerec MC XL Practice Lab is perfect for practices with onsite labs.

Roddy MacLeod, vice-president of CAD/CAM at Sirona, said: "With the introduction of these new milling units, single-visit dentistry for chairside restorations is more affordable than ever before."

Additionally, the firm is launching version 4.2 of its Cerec software platform and the new Apollo DI and Cerec AC with Omnicam digital impressioning systems.

This follows the introduction of a trio of new high-performance materials for use with Cerec systems earlier this month.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801600842-ADNFCR
