Sirona launches new digital radiography device Schick 33
Sirona has announced the launch of a new intraoral digital sensor and image management system that is described as the most advanced product of its kind.
Schick 33 is a next-generation intraoral digital radiography device that offers high-resolution imagery thanks to its theoretical resolution limit of 33 line pairs, which is the highest available on the market.
It also incorporates enhanced imaging software that allows pictures to be reviewed, stored and shared from a variety of clinical perspectives, as well as integration with existing Schick systems.
Other features include its dynamic image enhancement technology, image preference presets and user-definable tasks and settings.
Kevin McNulty, executive vice-president of Sirona, said: "Schick 33's design acknowledges the unique needs of each clinician, allowing them to easily adjust their images to suit their own preferences."
This comes after the firm also recently announced plans to introduce a new camera for its Cerec dental system, with the device to be unveiled later this month.
