Sobi named among top small employers in the UK

Sobi has been recognised by Great Place to Work as one of the UK's best workplaces in the small business category.

The firm was honoured at the Best Workplace Awards after it earned the rare distinction of having 100 percent of its employees say it offers a great place to work. It also received a score of 93 percent in the Trust Index, a rise of nine percentage points over the previous year.

Rankings are compiled on the basis of an employee survey and an audit into organisations' management and HR practices, as well as the initiatives it has taken to make life easier for staff.

Examples of these implemented by Sobi during 2016 included a new private employee forum, a review of policies pertaining to travel and nights away from home, and the introduction of mindfulness training, optional weekly yoga and a comprehensive private health check and health action plan.
