Sonos seeks new global PR agency partner
Smart speaker manufacturer Sonos has commenced a global agency review, with around a dozen PR agencies involved in the process.
The technology firm is seeking to step up its expansion efforts across Europe and Asia, with participating agencies to select their favoured regions and provide big-picture marketing ideas, according to The Holmes Report.
As many as eight separate briefs will be put forward as part of this process, which could lead to several agencies being selected to oversee local campaigns across key markets that Sonos is targeting for growth.
The aim will be to provide the firm with domestic agency support in territories where it is currently lacking, with the overall process expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2018.
Sonos does not currently employ a global agency of record, with its strongest agency relationship being with Weber Shandwick, which handles key global responsibilities and acts as the client's agency of record in the UK, Australia and Canada.
