Speed Communications and Bray Leino PR to merge

11th November 2014

Speed Communications has been acquired by the Mission Marketing Group and will be merged with Bray Leino PR to create a separate standalone PR business.

Retaining the Speed Communications name, the new-look company's revenues will be in excess of five million pounds and will combine the existing portfolios and specialisms of both agencies.

Kate Bosomworth of Speed will become one of three managing partners, alongside Bray Leino's Alison Weir and Kelly Pepworth, while Roberta Fuke of Bray Leino will become chief executive officer and deputy chairman.

Speed is based in London Bridge and employs 25 staff, while Bray Leino has offices in Bristol and London and has a workforce of 40 people.

Ms Fuke said: "Speed and Bray Leino individually have extremely impressive track records of success. By combining the talents of the teams, the opportunity to create a major new force in the PR industry is significant."

This comes after the Mission Marketing Group purchased Proof Communication earlier this year, a move that was immediately followed by Proof's merger with April-Six.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801759542-ADNFCR
