Spink wins PR brief with United European Gastroenterology

Spink has won a new brief with United European Gastroenterology (UEG), a not-for-profit umbrella organisation dedicated to improving the quality of gastroenterological care in Europe.

The agency has been handed a pan-European PR contract from UEG that will see it run a series of campaigns to build the profile of the organisation, raise awareness of the issues it promotes and encourage greater understanding of digestive diseases throughout the region.

Additionally, Spink will handle relations with the medical trade press and national European press, including running an on-site and online press office during the annual global congress UEG Week.

This event is attended by around 14,000 participants each year and will be taking place in Vienna in October 2014.

Spink is the first UK-based agency to work with UEG, with associate director Martha Robinson set to lead the account.
