St John Ambulance seeks new agency partner for stadium campaign

6th August 2014

St John Ambulance is to partner with a new creative agency to run a new advertising campaign that will be shown on big screens at football stadiums across the UK.

The first aid charity has contacted agencies directly about the new project, with two or three firms to be selected to pitch, according to Campaign. The chosen agency will create films that will be shown at stadiums during half-time breaks.

Last year, the charity achieved success with a TV campaign called Save the Boy, which depicted a father trying to administer first aid to his injured son. It encouraged viewers to go online and engage with interactive content to continue the story and learn more.

This advert was created by Bartle Bogle Hegarty, which has handled St John Ambulance's advertising since winning the brief in 2008. The new pitching process is not expected to affect the existing partnership between the two organisations.

St John Ambulance provides first aid training     to school students, workers and people in the community. It helped to teach vital skills to around 800,000 people in the last year alone.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801740317-ADNFCR
