Steris launches Prolystica Ultra Concentrate HP Cleaning Chemistries

Steris has announced the launch of its new Prolystica Ultra Concentrate HP Cleaning Chemistries, which offer a better performance than any previous Prolystica offering.

The new cleaning formulations are designed specifically to meet the needs of those in the healthcare sector, with industry demand for better-performing cleaning chemistries currently on the rise.

Steris' latest offering have a concentration factor of ten, with added de-foaming properties to further reduce the time and effort it takes to rinse surgical tools and equipment. They have proven stronger in removing difficult stains such as lipids and blood, including those associated with orthopaedic surgeries.

Mary Beth Nooney, product manager at Steris, said: "Sterile processing department managers know and are confident in our market-leading Prolystica brand. By working in tandem with them, we have been able to make the best cleaning chemistries on the market even better."

During the fiscal quarter ending on September 30th 2013, Steris achieved year-on-year growth of eight percent. The company remains confident in its business prospects over the next six months.
