Stryker completes takeover of Entellus Medical

Stryker has announced the completion of its previously-announced takeover of Entellus Medical.

As confirmed in December 2017, the firm has finalised the $662 million (GBP 479.98 million) deal, which gives Stryker control over a high-growth global medical technology company focused on the minimally invasive treatment of various ear, nose and throat (ENT) diseases.

Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota, Entellus Medical has a broad portfolio of products including the XprESS multi-sinus dilation system and the Latera absorbable nasal implant, which will complement Stryker's existing ENT portfolio.

The transaction is expected to be dilutive to Stryker's 2018 adjusted net earnings per diluted share by approximately $0.04, and accretive thereafter.
