SureFlap launches new SureSense Microchip Reader

SureFlap has announced the launch of its ergonomic and lightweight new SureSense Microchip Reader.

The device has been developed in response to feedback from veterinary and shelter staff that they are often required to share microchip readers. Its pocket-sized, affordable nature is specifically designed to address this problem.

Compatible with all ISO 15-digit identification microchips, the reader fits easily into the hand and can be operated with the push of a button, while its small size ensures it is not unduly intimidating for pets.

Key design features include an integrated LCD screen to display microchip numbers in a large, easy-to-read format, while it also provides information from temperature-sensing microchips where available.

Dr Nick Hill, managing director of SureFlap, said: "The reader is our first professional product, developed exclusively for veterinary professionals, shelters, breeders and pet care professionals.
