Tangerine PR wins North West Ambulance Service brief
Tangerine PR has won a six-month fully-integrated PR and social media campaign with the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
The aim of the brief will be to educate consumers on the outcomes of calling 999, specifically in terms of the fact that a 999 call does not necessarily always require an ambulance or result in a trip to hospital.
It will help to raise awareness of the work done by emergency medical dispatchers, specialist paramedics, resource dispatchers, rapid response paramedics and hazardous area response teams, all of whom form part of "#Team999".
This will help to drive understanding of the service and how it help patients to receive the right care.
Mary Harding, consumer managing director at Tangerine PR, said: "Tangerine has a huge amount of experience in driving public sector awareness campaigns, so this is the ideal brief for us."
Later this month, the agency will attend the annual Public Relations Consultants Association Awards event in London, where it has been nominated three times across two categories.
