Teva appoints new general manager for UK and Ireland

Teva has announced the appointment of Kim Innes as its new general manager for the UK and Ireland.

Ms Innes has been selected as a permanent successor to the former acting UK and Ireland general manager Richard Daniell, who is taking on a new global role within the Teva organisation.

She most recently served as UK chief operating officer for the company and has been credited with a leading global role in Teva's acquisition of Actavis Generics. The experienced professional previously led Teva's UK generics business and also served as chair of the British Generic Manufacturers' Association.

A graduate of the Harvard Business School, she has worked in a variety of commercial and leadership roles during what is already a long and successful career with Teva.

Ms Innes said: "We have an extremely talented group of people here in the UK and Ireland and I am confident that we will continue to maintain our leadership position whilst keeping an absolute focus on our patients and customers."
