Teva hails success of #BeConnected 2017 cancer conference

Teva has hailed the recent success of #BeConnected 2017, a cancer-focused conference event that was broadcast online for attendees around the world.

Hosted by Teva's European division in Barcelona, the event was designed to empower professionals with skills needed to optimise personal cancer journeys, with topics including having difficult conversations with patients, emotional intelligence, and the application of such concepts in real-life clinical practice.

Live streaming was used to share the speaker presentations to hundreds of participants internationally in real time. This included through face-to-face events in the UK and Poland, via a medical society platform in Germany, and on Facebook Live.

Around 45 doctors and nurses watched the presentations at Basingstoke's Ark Conference Centre, run by the Hampshire Hospital NHS Trust, leading to overwhelmingly positive user feedback.
