Teva sponsors prize category at Pharmacy in Focus Awards

Teva has sponsored a key category at the recent 2016 Pharmacy in Focus Awards, which honour the best work done by pharmacy professionals in Northern Ireland.

The company has been sponsoring the community pharmacy of the year category at the Pharmacy in Focus Awards for several years, with this year's prize won by Bannside Pharmacy from Portglenone in County Antrim.

Judges praised the pharmacy for its mission statement – 'Bannside Pharmacy…for a healthier, happier community' – as this showed an understanding of the need to put patient needs before profits.

Teva sponsors this award each year to help promote strong work done by independent community pharmacies and to support them in creating successful and sustainable businesses that benefit their communities.
