Teva to sponsor 2017 NHS Health and Care Innovation Expo

Teva has announced that it will be sponsoring this year's NHS Health and Care Innovation Expo, which takes place on September 11th and 12th in Manchester.

The company will act as headline sponsor of the expo and will collaborate with NHS England and other partners on a number of initiatives to further develop patient-centred innovations and transformation within England's health and social care services.

Last year, Teva teamed up with NHS England to develop the expo's popular Digital Health Zone, an area exploring the benefits of the digital and mobile health capabilities being used in the modern health and care system.

The Digital Health Zone will return for the 2017 show, and will once again allow delegates to discuss, share and learn how digital technology can make healthcare more effective, affordable and patient-centric.

A company statement said: "We believe that whole-system change and improvement will only happen if the NHS, local authorities and industry partners work together in partnership to accelerate the uptake of successful innovations across health and social care."
