The Academy creates first TV advert for Pharmacy2U

23rd January 2018

The Academy has launched its first ever TV advertisement, a stop-motion animation designed to promote the online pharmacy business Pharmacy2U.

Concepts, production and music for the new campaign have been handled by The Academy, in addition to PR support. Directed by the Quay Brothers, the advert features animation created using 1,500 pills, reports PRWeek.

Pharmacy2U's goal with the campaign is to ensure more people can manage their repeat prescription medicines online to help ease the strain on the NHS, by highlighting the significant time and money savings this could deliver for doctors.

Media buying is being handled by All Response Media, with The Academy set to promote the film in primetime and daytime advertising slots.

Maya Moufarek, chief marketing officer at Pharmacy2U, said: "Technology has transformed industries from retail to travel, and we have worked with The Academy and the Quay Brothers to show how it is now making a much-needed mark on healthcare."
