The Body Shop comes top of recruitment site list

The Body Shop has been named number one in the Top 100 List of Retail Career Sites.

Hire Strategies ? the company that compiled the league ? noted the cosmetics and toiletries company scored consistently high across all areas of the survey.

Aspects of online recruitment that were marked included the application process, first impressions and search engine optimisation.

Director of the Body Shop Jeff Howard said the business is “delighted” to be named top in the table.

“This award is great news for us as we strive to become the small retailer of choice and an employer where quality people actively seek to join us based on our strong reputation,” he said.

Other companies which appeared in the top 20 included T-Mobile, which was fourth, as well as Vodafone that ranked 13th.

The Body Shop was founded in 1976 in the UK by Dame Anita Roddick. It now offers a range of over 1,200 products in more than 2,400 stores across 61 countries. The company prides itself on not testing its cosmetics and toiletries on animals.
