The Foundry Healthcare names new head of healthcare

The Foundry Healthcare has announced the appointment of Gerry Montgomery as its new head of healthcare.

Mr Montgomery has more than 20 years of agency experience managing high-profile projects and events for pharmaceutical and medical device brands, having worked with companies such as MediTech Media and Ashfield Meetings and Events.

In his new position, he will be responsible for leading the healthcare team, developing the overall business strategy and playing a role in the continued growth of the agency, working alongside Mark Bottomley, The Foundry's managing director.

The agency's approach to helping clients overcome sector-specific challenges using research-based insights, strategic development and creative solutions was cited by Mr Montgomery as a key reason he was eager to take the position.

Mr Bottomley said: "Gerry's strong leadership and industry experience will help us build on our accomplishments and drive us forward to the next level."
