Thermo Fisher Scientific named as SelectScience’s company of the year

Thermo Fisher Scientific has been presented with a company of the year prize by SelectScience readers and contributors for the second year in a row.

The firm won the reviewers' choice title after receiving the highest review rating on the SelectScience platform, a leading independent online resource for the global scientific community.

It previously won the award in 2015 and 2017, with the company also winning a SelectScience scientists' choice award for best new drug discovery and development product for its Q Exactive HF-X Hybrid Quadrupole-Orbitrap Mass Spectrometer last year.

Scientists often rely on product reviews and peer validation when investing in new laboratory equipment, meaning this award win represents a significant achievement for the company.
