Thermo Fisher Scientific reveals new electrode

21st January 2008

Thermo Fisher Scientific has launched a new Orion High Performance Ammonia Ion Selective Electrode.

According to the serving science company, the new product offers low detection limits, with rapid, repeatable readings, increased durability and swift responses with stable, quick results.

It also features ‘easier’ electrode maintenance with a keying feature on the electrode body ensuring the secure fit of the electrode and preventing the membrane from twisting or breaking during assembly.

The pre-assembled outer body includes a membrane cap to contribute to ease of use.

Thermo Fisher Scientific said: "The ideal product for the drinking water and wastewater laboratories, the new Orion Ammonia Ion Selective Electrode saves time in analysis and maintenance while providing unsurpassed quality, accuracy and performance."

"It delivers the accuracy of a stretched membrane with the convenience of a membrane cap," the company added.

As a world leader in the serving science industry, Thermo Fisher Scientific provides over 350,000 customers in pharmaceutical and biotech companies, hospitals and clinical diagnostic labs, universities, research institutions and government agencies, as well as environmental and industrial process control settings with necessary products.
