Tonic Life appoints new European managing director

Tonic Life Communications has announced the appointment of Ann Bartling to the position of managing director at the agency's European headquarters in London.

In her new role, Ms Bartling will be responsible for leading the agency's European offering, providing strategic counsel and direction to its healthcare client base and steering growth as the firm continues its global expansion.

She joins Tonic from Edelman, where she recently led the firm's UK and European health practice, having spent 13 years serving in various roles across the agency's health practice in both Chicago and London.

Overall, Ms Bartling can boast 25 years of healthcare industry experience, during which time she has overseen European, global and US communications programmes for a wide variety of health and wellness brands.

Tonic's global chief executive officer Maryellen Royle said: "We look forward to continuing to boost our Tonic EU presence and service offerings with Ann's energy and expertise in the healthcare space."
