Tonic Life Communications appoints new senior vice-president

Tonic Life Communications has announced the appointment of Robyn Ungar as its new senior vice-president.

Based at its US headquarters in Philadelphia, Ms Ungar will assume responsibility for guiding the strategic vision and management of one of the agency's key clients, while also working with agency peers to expand Tonic's capabilities, service offerings and industry recognition.

She is a healthcare PR veteran with more than 15 years of industry experience, with specific expertise in translating complex scientific information into meaningful insights, and in emphasising patient and professional education.

During her career, she has managed and executed several blockbuster creative and strategic campaigns for disease awareness, regulatory approvals and secondary indications, as well as conducting strategic issues management protocols for black-box warnings and labelling.
