Triodent agrees UK distribution deal with Optident

Triodent has formed an alliance with fellow dental products company Optident, allowing the latter company to distribute Triodent products in the UK.

Under the terms of the agreement, which comes into effect as of July 1st 2010, Optident will sell Triodent’s entire range in the UK and Ireland, including its flagship V3 Sectional Matrix System, which has won numerous awards since its 2008 US launch.

These include winning the Dental Advisor’s top sectional matrix system award for two years in a row, as well as earning accolades from Dentaltown, Realty and Dental Product Shopper.

Other Triodent products which will be marketed in Britain by Optident include the dual-arch impression tray Triotray and the indirect restorations device Griptab.

Dr Simon McDonald, chief executive officer of Triodent, expressed confidence that its new partner is a “major company with a great reputation” which will be able to cater to the needs of its customers.
