TTP LabTech to supply QCL with third sample store

23rd June 2009

TTP LabTech has announced it has supplied Queensland Compound Library (QCL) with a third compound sample store.

The company said this latest buy is evidence of its success and the growing demand for compound management and logistics services.

Demand has arisen from medical research institutes, publicly funded research organisations and academia in Australia.

TTP LabTech’s comPOUND sample store is a modular system where self-contained modules can provide sample storage from temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius.

Dr David Camp of QCL said: "The QCL has grown extremely rapidly during the last year with the introduction of over 250,000 compounds, which has necessitated the purchase of another comPOUND sample store."

He said is has been "extremely gratifying" to see the success of the third unit’s integration.

Meanwhile, a validation of a Protein A biosensor surface has been published on the Nature Methods website.

It can be used jointly with the RAPid 4 instrument to capture surface for kinetic characterisations.
