TTP Labtech’s comPOUND wins praise from QCL

14th June 2010

TTP Labtech’s comPOUND sample store technology has been praised for its effective design by the Queensland Compound Library (QCL).

The national resource, which provides Australian research organisations and academic institutes with compound management and logistics services, has recently installed a fourth comPOUND sample store to cater to increasing demand.

It stated that the latest modular upgrade to the TTP Labtech-produced system has been performed “seamlessly”, allowing sample processing to commence within three days of installation.

Dr David Camp of QCL said the comPOUND equipment has helped the organisation to meet demand and cater to its clients’ varying needs.

He added: “The QCL must cater for everything from open access samples to very limited access samples. The comPOUND sample store and our in-house checks allow us to use samples as intended.”

Earlier this year, TTP Labtech launched a new laser scanning microplate cytometer device called Mirrorball, which is designed to offer more sensitive performance for antibody researchers.
