Up Communications expands remit with Chelsea Apps Factory
Up Communications has expanded its working relationship with Chelsea Apps Factory, having originally been handed the contract last September.
The original brief encompassed message creation, strategic planning, media relations, internal comms, speechwriting, public affairs, digital PR and thought leadership work. Financial media and analyst relations responsibilities will now be added to this, reports PRWeek.
Launched in 2010, Chelsea Apps Factory is one of the UK's fastest-growing tech companies, with high-profile clients including Ladbrokes, KPMG and Waitrose. It is considering a flotation later this year.
Stuart Jackson, chief executive officer of Up Communications, said: "With our years of experience in corporate and financial comms for companies including Orange and EE, we're thrilled to now be supporting another great UK success story at this exciting time."
Chelsea Apps Factory was one of the first contracts secured by Up Communications, which was launched in July 2014 by Mr Jackson and his former EE colleague Lynne Arrowsmith.
