Up Communications wins Chelsea Apps Factory brief
Up Communications has been hired by the up-and-coming technology firm Chelsea Apps Factory to handle its internal and external comms.
The brief includes message creation, strategic planning, media relations, internal comms, speechwriting, public affairs, digital PR and thought leadership work, with national publications set to be targeted, reports PRWeek.
Chelsea Apps Factory is a software developer and strategic adviser that was founded in 2010 and now has contracts with clients such as Ladbrokes, KPMG and Waitrose. It currently employs around 70 members of staff.
Mike Anderson, chief executive officer and founder of Chelsea Apps Factory, said: "Up Communications was a natural fit for us and we are now building an exciting communications plan that showcases the power and potential of our company."
Up Communications was launched in July 2014 by Stuart Jackson and Lynne Arrowsmith, who left senior roles at EE in order to found the agency.
Within weeks of its debut, it won a corporate comms brief with Blinkbox, the streaming media service from Tesco.
