VCCP and Teva top list of winners at PM Society Awards
VCCP has taken home a number of key accolades at the recent PM Society Advertising Awards for 2013, which took place in London last month.
Featuring competition from 37 pharmaceutical companies and 27 agencies, the event resulted in VCCP Health earning three awards for its work promoting Teva's Copaxone. This was more than any other inidivudal agency.
Meanwhile, Langland earned two prizes for its work with Abbvie and IDIS, Saatchi and Saatchi Health won a pair of trophies for campaigns for BD and AstraZeneca, and Woolley Pau Gyro also received two awards for its collaborations with Teva and Napp.
In terms of client companies, Takeda earned the most nominations with 14, though Teva's four trophies made it the biggest winner of the evening.
Neil Smith, PM Society Advertising Awards chairman and head of creative copy at Solaris Health, said: "Entries into the Patient Information Campaign category were particularly high this year, maybe suggesting an industry trend towards improving patient communications, ultimately to drive better patient outcomes."
This event is organised annually by the PM Society as part of its efforts to promote marketing excellence throughout the healthcare and life science industries.
