Vetoquinol launches light-hearted video

21st April 2008

Animal health firm Vetoquinol has announced the launch of an online film designed to help Britons pronounce its name.

The company conducted research which revealed that many clients, suppliers and even some staff in the UK were unable to correctly say the name.

It chose to combat this in a light-hearted manner, by creating a digital film which spells out Vetoquinol.

The film features dancing animals and was shot in a Manchester warehouse using dancers from local performance group Dance Fierce.

Mark Leddy, Vetoquinol’s marketing department manager, commented that this was a fun response to research which showed many people had difficulties pronouncing the firm’s name.

“We think it is very entertaining and are sure that everyone else will see it in the same light,” he added.

The video can be viewed at the veterinary supplier’s website.

Earlier this year, Vetoquinol introduced new drug Rimifin to its range of animal pain relief products.

The carprofen-based drug is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug which can help combat pain caused by musculo-skeletal disorders and joint disease.
