Vetster Unveil Breakthrough in Veterinary Telehealth
Vetster, a rapidly expanding global platform for animal telehealth, revealed today the advancements of their products in California.
Utilizing its network of animal health experts, the corporation can now deliver telehealth resources for online pet care, offering virtual diagnoses and prescriptions.
The enactment of Assembly Bill 1399, effective from the beginning of 2024, represents a noteworthy achievement in veterinary services, enabling animal health experts in California to engage in veterinary practice online.
The legislation intends to alleviate the pressing deficit of accessible animal health services, a concern that, as per current projections, will impact over 24m cats and dogs residing in the state of California.
Cerys Goodall, a leading chief of Vester, commented, “Vetster is purpose-built for veterinarians and pet owners to connect, see full histories of the animal’s health, and develop a comprehensive care plan. Our mobile platform makes taking care of our pets in between clinic visits more affordable, accessible, and convenient.”
The head officer at Vetster, Mark Bordo, added, “California’s progressive stance on telemedicine means veterinarians can reach more pet owners and their animals outside of a clinic or emergency hospital setting – anytime, anywhere. We are proud to expand our services and support the industry’s evolution.”
